The number everyone compares before buying an evaluation is how many days until you get paid. It is by a wide margin the least comparable number on the page.
The reason is that "day" doesn't mean the same thing in two contracts. At some firms the clock runs by itself from activation. At others it doesn't start until your first trade. At others only the days you trade count — and at a few, only the days you win above a minimum figure. That last version isn't a deadline: it's a condition that may never be met.
Two more details decide when the money actually lands: how often they let you ask, and whether there's a maximum number of payouts before the account closes. Neither appears on the pricing table.
This is the problem: "first payout in 14 days" doesn't mean the same thing at two firms. Fourteen calendar days run on their own while you sleep. Fourteen winning days depend on you winning fourteen times — and may never arrive.
Frequency decides your real cash flow. A cycle-based scheme can leave you waiting weeks after you've met everything else.
A 100% split with a six-payout cap is not better than an uncapped 90/10. The cap is the small print that turns an attractive percentage into a ceiling.
What each firm says, with the link to its own page and the date we read it. If a rule changes, it changes here.
| Firm | Verified rule | Verified | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Alpha Capital Group | Traders choose bi-weekly payouts (first request needs a minimum $100 profit and at least 5 trading days) or on-demand (subject to the 40% best-day rule and to leaving 2% of gross profit in the account). The standard split is 80%, rising to 90% on Alpha Direct or by buying the 90% split add-on. Alpha's own pages do not state a fixed 14-day start or 2-business-day processing. | 2026-09-15 | Source |
| Apex Trader Funding | On the Legacy account we rank: payouts from 8 trading days, of which 5 must close with $50 or more of profit, $500 minimum, and 8 trading days between requests. The split is 100% of the first $25,000 paid out per account and 90% of anything after that. The first five payouts are capped by size ($2,500 on the $100,000) and from the sixth the cap disappears. A 30% consistency rule also applies: no single day may account for more than 30% of profit, through the fifth payout. The 4.0 Sim-Funded account is a different product and works differently: a 100% split, 5 qualifying days, and a hard cap of 6 payouts after which the account closes. | 2026-09-16 | Source |
| Bulenox | Weekly Wednesday payouts ($1,000 minimum, after 10 traded days) at 100% of the first $10,000 then 90/10 — but declining the mandatory move to a live account after 3 payouts closes the Master with no payout. | 2026-07-21 | Source |
| E8 Markets | First payout from just 3 days into the funded stage (daily on Pro and Zero), at an 80/90/100% split chosen at purchase and paid via Rise or WorkMarket, subject to the best-day rule. | 2026-09-15 | Source |
| Earn2Trade | Weekly Wednesday payouts from $100 minimum net; the split is set by EACH withdrawal's size against your account tier's threshold: TCP 25K–200K switch from 50/50 to 80/20 at $1,500/$2,250/$3,000/$4,000/$5,000 (TCP 400K is a fixed 60/40), and Gauntlet Mini funded accounts GM50–GM200 at $2,250/$3,000/$4,000/$5,000. | 2026-09-08 | Source |
| Elite Trader Funding | On Elite sim accounts you keep 100% of only the first $12,500 then 90%, with payouts processed every Wednesday and requiring 15 Active Trading Days for the first two cycles then 10 thereafter. LIVE ELITE (uncapped 80/20, $250 min) triggers at whichever comes first: 5 payouts, 50 Active Trading Days, or the $25,000 sim cap. | 2026-07-24 | Source |
| FTMO | On-demand payouts from day 14 after your first trade, at a 90% split (1-Step) or 80% rising to 90% (2-Step), with the 2-Step entry fee refunded with your first withdrawal. | 2026-07-21 | Source |
| Funded Trading Plus | Withdrawals begin day 1 on Express/Instant then every 7 days; the 2-Step Classic pays every 10 days. The split starts at 80/20 and rises to 90/10 at 20% profit. Beyond that, FT+'s own channels disagree: the homepage advertises "up to 100% via add-ons", while the help centre's Profit Split article documents the ladder stopping at 90/10 and no 100% tier at all. Unresolved, and we do not pick a side — until FT+ documents it, treat 90% as the ceiling you can point to in writing and 100% as unconfirmed. | 2026-09-07 | Source |
| FundedNext | First payout at 21 days then every 14 (every 5 business days on 1-Step), at a base 80% split rising to 90% via Scale-Up — the advertised '95%' is in unresolved documented conflict. | 2026-09-07 | Source |
| FundingPips | You trade split for cadence: 60% weekly, 80% bi-weekly, 90% on-demand (behind the 35% consistency gate) or 100% monthly, with the first payout 7 days after your first trade. | 2026-09-07 | Source |
| FXIFY | First payout on demand after your first closed trade on the live account, then monthly (or bi-weekly with an add-on), at up to a 90% split — the base without add-ons is unpublished — with the fee 100% refunded at first payout. | 2026-07-21 | Source |
| Instant Funding | First payout at 14 days on the flagship (on-demand on challenges and Micro, from $25) at 80% upgradeable to 90% — the processing time is in conflict between 24 hours and 48 business hours. | 2026-09-07 | Source |
| Lucid Trading | Payouts have no fixed windows — request whenever you qualify and get paid within 2 business days — at a 90/10 split from the first dollar with per-payout caps by plan and size. | 2026-09-15 | Source |
| Maven Trading | Payouts every 10 business days at 80/20 (Mini at 70% and within 24 hours), with a global $10,000-per-trader cap every rolling 30 days and the M2 Account Saver cutting your split to 50% at a 2% drawdown. | 2026-09-07 | Source |
| MyFundedFutures | Rapid pays 90/10 with payouts requestable every 24 hours, but only after clearing the required buffer (drawdown + $100, e.g. $1,100 on 25K up to $4,600 on 150K), so the first payout is a few days in — not 24h after the first trade. Builder pays in cycles at 80/20; Pro is bi-weekly (14 days) at 80/20. | 2026-07-24 | Source |
| Take Profit Trader | Withdrawals from day one in PRO at an 80/20 split once you clear a buffer equal to the max drawdown, and PRO+ pays daily at 90/10 with no buffer. | 2026-07-21 | Source |
| The5ers | On the 2-Step, The5ers splits 80/20 and scales to 100% with a fixed monthly payout at high balances. On how much you need before you can be paid, its own pages disagree: the 2-Step rules page asks for $250 of profit, the withdrawals help page asked for $150. We record both and pick neither. What is clear is that there is a cap: $2,000 per payout cycle. First payout 14 days after the account is activated, then every two weeks. | 2026-09-15 | Source |
| Topstep | Payouts from $125 after 5 winning days of $150+ Net P&L (or 3 days on the 40% Consistency path). The split is a dated cutoff, not a conflict: accounts opened before Jan 12, 2026 keep 100% of the first $10,000 in lifetime profits then 90/10; accounts opened on or after that date are a flat 90/10. | 2026-09-16 | Source |
| TradeDay | On-demand payouts processed within 24 business hours, from day one on Quick Pay (minimum $250), at a 50/50 split below $4,000 net profit, 80/20 above it, and 90/10 on Funded Live. | 2026-09-07 | Source |
| Tradeify | A 90/10 split across plans, with payouts every 5 winning days on Growth and Select Flex, daily on Select Daily, and instant on Lightning, always subject to per-payout caps. On Select the cap depends on when you bought: accounts purchased from 1 September 2026 have lower caps on Flex (down to $4,500 on the $150,000, previously $5,000) and higher ones on Daily (up to $1,750 on the $100,000, previously $1,500). Minimum $250. | 2026-09-16 | Source |
Almost always one of three things: you hadn't met the day count in the exact sense that firm uses, your best day exceeded the consistency limit, or an identity check that only triggers at payout time was still pending. All three can be checked before you hit request.
Days you close in profit above a minimum, usually between $50 and $200 depending on the firm. A day up $10 doesn't count. It's the difference between a deadline that arrives on its own and one that depends on your run.
It depends: some set a flat amount, some a percentage of balance, some vary it by plan. A percentage minimum scales with you — the bigger the account, the more you must accumulate before you can take anything out.
