Drawdown · what kills you

Primary source
Trailing + StaticUnrealized counts

Trailing drawdown of $2,000 (50K) / $3,000 (100K) / $4,500 (150K), freezing at the starting balance, breached intraday. The intraday-vs-end-of-day method is chosen per account at purchase — Quick Pay is available as either, Fast Pass is EOD-only.

Daily loss

Unverified
No daily limit

No daily loss limit was found anywhere on the firm's pages — the only loss mechanism is the trailing drawdown — but the absence is not explicitly confirmed.

Contains unverified parts Partly inferred from omission

Consistency

Primary source

Consistency applies only in the evaluation: no day may exceed 30% (Quick Pay) or 45% (Fast Pass) of total profits to pass; no funded-stage rule was found.

Targets & min days

DisputedPrimary source

50K: $3,000 target, $2,000 drawdown, 5-day minimum.

The firm's own pages disagree here. We don't lock a single value until it's resolved — confirm at the source. See all disputes
TradeDay contradicts itself on this value (Fast Pass minimum days):

3 days minimum

No minimum on Fast Pass

What it costs you: It is precisely what a Fast Pass is bought for: with a 3-day minimum the product does not do what its name says.

Payouts & split

Primary source

On-demand payouts processed within 24 business hours, from day one on Quick Pay (minimum $250), at a 50/50 split below $4,000 net profit, 80/20 above it, and 90/10 on Funded Live.

Pricing

DisputedPrimary source

50K Quick Pay (intraday): monthly subscription ~$125/month (sometimes 50% off), no activation. $60 reset.

The firm's own pages disagree here. We don't lock a single value until it's resolved — confirm at the source. See all disputes
TradeDay still publishes a stale page about this value (Is there an activation fee on passing):
Current site pricing cards
No activation fee, all plans

Still-live FAQ
$139 one-time setup fee each time an evaluation is passed
source

What it costs you: Probably a stale FAQ after the 2026-05 relaunch, but it is still published and still a TradeDay page. $139 per evaluation passed if that is the one that governs.

News trading

Primary source
±2 minNews prohibited

TradeDay bans trading tier 1 data releases and enforces it mechanically: the platform auto-liquidates all open positions 2 minutes before each tier 1 release and reopens the market 2 minutes after. Named events are FOMC minutes and rate decision, US CPI, US employment/NFP, crude oil and natural gas inventories, and crop production reports. An accidental breach does not fail you, but profits made trading tier 1 releases are forfeited on payout.

New sitewide promo: 55% off all accounts with code TDNEW

TradeDay's own site now advertises 55% off all accounts with code TDNEW under TradeDay 2.0 pricing: the 50K Quick Pay (Intraday) drops to $59/month (list $131) and the 50K Quick Pay EOD to $79/month (list $175). This beats the previously tracked DGT pricing ($62.50 on a $125 list), so TDNEW replaces DGT as the best verified deal.

'TradeDay 2.0': entire product line replaced and the $139 activation fee eliminated

The whole lineup becomes Quick Pay (Intraday/EOD) + Fast Pass; static-drawdown accounts are discontinued, the $139 activation fee is dropped, and the old lifetime 80→90→95% ladder is replaced with per-account tiers (50/50 to $4,000, 80/20 above, 90/10 Live), with day-one Quick Pay payouts — whose funded account runs INTRADAY drawdown even if your eval was EOD.
